Advantages of ISALON / ISACORD over rayon thread
- ISALON / ISACORD 40 provide excellent performance at utmost machine speed up to 1,200 stitches/minute and higher, as long as machines are adjusted properly.
- It is not necessary to reduce speed of the machine when choosing ISALON / ISACORD 40 whilst stitching on thicker materials like Denim Jeans.
- ISACORD 40 is a universal thread and will apply to most of the embroidery applications - from fine fabrics to thick material. But when using finest fabrics like silk and chiffon, or when embroidery work is done on ladies fashion wear we strongly recommend ISALON 40.
- ISALON / ISACORD 40 increase productivity compared to rayon embroidery threads because of reduced thread breaks and in consequence a drastic reduction of machine stoppage time.
- ISALON / ISACORD 40 are colourfast in consideration of the care labels and also chlorine fast regarding to DIN 54035. This gives a basic criteria especially for industries using extensive washing and laundry processes when cleaning for e.g. work-wear, hospital clothes or catering uniforms. ISALON / ISACORD are ideally suited for embroideries on fashion jeans, which subsequently might be stone-washed or treated with chlorine. Rayon embroidery threads are rarely chlorine fast and there is a potential danger of colour bleeding.
- ISALON / ISACORD 40 also stand out for their high resistance to abrasion. Such distinguished characteristic provides highest practical value for embroiderers, who decorate products like work-wear, sport and leather goods, shoes, upholstery and car seats. Embroidery work done with Rayon thread can break down, because of its low resistance to abrasion.
- The attractive spool design, King-Spool (KS) with ‘Snap’ down base for securing ends of thread, of ISALON 40 as well as of ISACORD 40 prevents falling thread layers and guarantees safe storage without thread waste.
The reason: During the embroidery process unavoidable thread unwinding will get collected by the stopping groove and could easily be re-pulled from the bottom base.
Cone-shaped spool design (CW) or cross-winded tubes (XW) always lead to thread waste, not only during the actual sewing operation but even more at thread handling and storing activities.
