The thread tension should be chosen in a way that ISAMET slides through the thread guides without drag resistance, i.e. tension as low as possible.

The use of a best balanced bobbin thread is required to get an extra nice embroidery look. We recommend ISA 150 or SABA C 150 used in combination with ISAMET.

Stitches with less then 3 mm length should be avoided with ISAMET 40. Please check your embroidery design so the stitch density and stitch length fits to it. For very short stitches we recommend ISAMET 50 due to the finer thread diameter.

ISAMET is a metallic effect thread developed for machine embroidery. ISAMET 40 and 50 are used for emblems and uniform embroideries but also to decorate fashionable clothes. Single metallic embroideries can just be designed as every kind of combination with ISAFIL or ISACORD.
