Texprocess 2026 has been a great success, and we would like to thank everyone who visited the AMANN booth.
We truly appreciated the many inspiring conversations, valuable exchanges, and new connections made during four exciting days in Frankfurt. Meeting so many partners, customers, and industry experts in person once again was a real highlight.
Our Chief Commercial Officer, Ms. Christine Bauer, summed it up perfectly: "Texprocess remains a key industry platform for us, not least due to the synergies with Techtextil. It brings together the most important market players and enables direct dialogue – which is exactly why it was important for us to be present again in 2026 and showcase our innovative, high-performance sewing and embroidery threads."
One of the highlights for us was receiving the Texprocess Innovation Award 2026 in the category “Ecological Quality” for our innovation AeoniQ™ Fil – a strong recognition of our ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability.
A big thank you to our valued partner AeoniQ™, the Portuguese-Swiss joint venture enabling monomaterial designs for circular concepts. In close collaboration, we developed our award-winning sewing thread AeoniQ™ Fil.
We also extend our thanks to Resortecs, with whom we have recently started a partnership to industrialise the design-for-disassembly approach in fashion. Using Resortecs’ heat-dissolvable sewing thread Smart Stitch™, this solution enables automated garment disassembly, optimised material recovery, and high-quality recycling at scale. Smart Stitch™ was engineered by Resortecs and is now produced by AMANN.
We were pleased to present six product innovations addressing key requirements such as circularity, seam quality, processability, and visibility:
- AeoniQ™ Fil – Texprocess Innovation Award winner, developed with AeoniQ™
- Smart Stitch™ – heat-dissolvable sewing thread for efficient textile recycling
- Waterfil – water-soluble sewing thread for temporary seams
- Sera & Isa Reflect – retroreflective threads for enhanced visibility
- Saba Evo – premium sewing thread for superior seam uniformity
- Isacord Recycled UV – UV-resistant embroidery thread for long-lasting applications
Together, these innovations underline AMANN’s commitment to combining technological excellence, highest processing standards, and responsible product development.
