Sewing threads and yarns are an indispensable product of the textile industry. And they’re much more than that:
As a connecting component of ultra-modern, technological designs, they make a decisive contribution to success in future-oriented fields such as lightweight construction. AMANN can do both. No matter how the threads are processed: We know what they have to do and what our customers need. Our cross-sector knowledge gives us room for ideas that we translate into state-of-the-art products.
Since 1854, AMANN has been one of the leading international manufacturers of high-quality sewing threads, embroidery threads and Smart Yarns. From universal sewing threads to highly technical special yarns: we offer a wide range for a variety of applications.
More than 2,500 AMANN employees in over 100 countries worldwide work to deliver success. AMANN sewing and embroidery threads are manufactured exclusively in our own production facilities in Europe and Asia. This ensures the basis for maximum flexibility and customer proximity.
Our headquarters, Amann & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG, are located near Stuttgart in Bönnigheim, Germany. The management board consists of Bodo Th. Bölzle (CEO and Chairman of the Management Board), Wolfgang Findeis (CFO) and Peter Morgalla (COO).
We combine tradition with a living culture of innovation
We have a strong basis for our future focus: the development and production of high-quality sewing and embroidery threads. As a global player and leader in technology, we stand for intelligent products, individual solutions and innovative concepts with a high claim to quality and reliability. Because development thrives on change, there are no well-worn paths at AMANN. Our curiosity and interdisciplinary way of thinking are our motivation, not only to recognise new trends but also to help shape them – whether in classic areas of application, automotive or for technical textiles.
We are open-minded thinkers with a hands-on mentality ...
... and that is why we are strong in the development of innovative concepts. We work closely with our customers right from the start. This way you don't just get a finished product but the solution that has become the yarn. In our textile think tank, the AMANN Innovation Lab, we work on new and further developments that are based around the requirements of our customers and make visions of the future a reality. As a dynamic company that is continuously learning, we are always on the ball and constantly adding to our knowledge. This makes us a sparring partner for all questions around the seams. How can your product become even safer, better performing, more beautiful or more comfortable? Ask us – we will find the answer.
