Lifecycle Polyamide is the world’s first 100% recycled polyamide sewing thread, made from polyamide 6 continuous filament.
Lifecycle Polyamide is a Cradle to Cradle Certified®️ Gold sewing thread. Cradle to Cradle® stands for a consistent, continuous recycling management, in which no waste is generated, as Cradle to Cradle® products are either returned to biological cycles as biological nutrients (biological cycle) or are continuously kept in technical cycles as technical nutrients (technical cycle).
Lifecycle Polyamide is mainly produced from recycled fishing nets and textile waste. The sustainable sewing thread is only dyed with compostable dyes. Lifecycle Polyamide has excellent strength and colour fastness properties and is robust, abrasion-resistant and durable.
The sustainable sewing thread Lifecycle Polyamide is used in the entire apparel sector, e.g. as sustainable sewing thread for ladieswear and menswear, as sustainable sewing thread for sportswear & outdoor, as sustainable sewing thread for underwear & lingerie, and as sustainable sewing thread for workwear. Therefore, Lifecycle Polyamide is the ideal choice for the production of sustainable products.
